Not Yours to Carry
A live online workshop for releasing emotional overload, regulating your nervous system, and reclaiming your own energy through reflective writing, nature-based decrees, and sound healing.
You might not realise how much you’ve been carrying.
Not just tasks or responsibilities.
But emotional weight.
Other people’s moods.
Unspoken expectations.
Tension in the room.
The pressure to hold it all together.
The feeling that if you stop, something will fall apart.
For many sensitive or neurodivergent nervous systems, this becomes so familiar it almost disappears into the background.
Until it doesn’t.
Until exhaustion, irritability, shutdown, or overwhelm start to speak louder than words.
This workshop is a gentle space to notice what you’ve been holding that was never truly yours, and begin to set it down.
Not through force.
Through awareness, sound, and reflection.
What This Workshop Offers You
This is not a lecture and it is not about doing things “better”.
It is a guided experience of release and return.
In this live online workshop, you will be supported through:
Gentle nervous system grounding to help you arrive in your body
A guided exploration of what emotional weight you may be carrying
A releasing-focused sound healing session designed to support letting go at a nervous system level
Reflective writing to help you name what is yours and what is not
Nature-based decree creation (present-tense, embodied statements that reconnect you to steadiness and strength)
Integration practices you can return to when your body feels full again
You will leave with something simple but powerful:
a clearer sense of what belongs to you, and what does not.
And language you can return to when things feel overwhelming again.
This Is For You If
This workshop may resonate if you:
- Feel emotionally responsible for others’ states
- Absorb moods, tension, or conflict easily
- Find yourself overthinking interactions long after they happen
- Feel tired in a way rest doesn’t fully fix
- Are often “fine” externally, but internally overloaded
- Want a gentle way to reset without needing to explain or justify how you feel
You do not need to be at breaking point to belong here.
You just need to be ready for things to feel a little lighter.
A Note on My Approach
My work sits at the intersection of nervous system awareness, sound healing, and reflective practice.
I do not believe you need to be fixed.
I believe many of us are simply carrying too much, for too long, without enough space to set it down.
This workshop is built around that belief.
It is slow, supportive, and designed to meet you where you are — not where you think you should be.
What You’ll Leave With
You will not be asked to become a different version of yourself.
Instead, you will leave with a:
- Felt sense of what is and is not yours to carry
- Calmer, more regulated internal state
- Set of personal nature-based decrees to return to
- Simple emotional reset practice you can reuse
- Quieter internal landscape, even if life around you stays full
A Gentle Invitation
If something in you has been saying “I’m carrying too much”, this is your space to listen to that.
No need to justify it.
There’s no need to explain it perfectly.
You are allowed to simply respond to it.
About Your Facilitator
I’m Lucinda — educator, sound healer, and creator of Different… and Loving It.
My work focuses on supporting neurodivergent, sensitive and overwhelmed nervous systems through sound, reflection, and creative regulation practices.
Across my work, I explore how we can move from pressure and self-doubt toward more spacious, compassionate ways of being with ourselves.
Not Yours to Carry
This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about noticing what you’ve been carrying…
setting some of it down…
and returning to yourself with a little more space than before.
